MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR
Paul´s house
A very nice taxi
MENDIPS: Lennon´s house, where he lived with his uncle and auntie. It was forbidden to take any pictures inside but I can assure you it was amazing. The moment I entered Lennon´s room was inexplicable. Actually, when you are in all the rooms and the guide tells you all the things that happened there...it is as if you were reliving those moments.
I don´t remember well but I think Ringo´s house was there. We couldn´t visit the house because I think it was destroyed.
Ringo´s Street
What a wonderful song!...is in my ears and in my eyes...
McCartney´s Street
Although this song was created in Almería while "How I won the War", the film in which Lennon had a role as a soldier, was being shot, Lennon remembered this Liverpudlian orphanage.
I´m not sure but I think it was Harrison´s house. We couldn´t visit it because it was sold.
A Magical Mystery Tour replica bus
The only houses you can visit ( thanks to the National Trust) are those of Lennon and McCartney.
THIS IS ANFIELD
Although in Liverpool there are two football teams, Liverpool and Everton,i t´s the former which is the most supported, being the most successful in the history of English football ( it owns more trophies than any other English club!)
It is said that this stadium had no seats at the beginning. It was crowded and just men attended to see a match. It was so crowded that the spectators couldn´t go to the toilets so they urinated there using a newspaper. Just Imagine! They said that you could see a Yellow Mersey at Anfield.
I have no words to talk about its anthem. Just listen to it. It´s amazing! In my opinion, football is a religion in this country.

SCOUSE
Scouse is a kind of lamb or beef stew, commonly eaten by sailors throughout Northern Europe.
Scouse is also the accent and dialect spoken by Liverpudlians. It is not only spoken in Liverpool, but also in nearby regions. This dialect was influenced by the many immigrants that came to live there (Irish, Scottish, Welsh,German and some others) due to the importance of its port.
The first time I went to Liverpool I thought I had wasted 5 years of my life studying another language rather than English. It was so difficult to understand at first! In the end, I got used to listening to this funny dialect and I could understand, more or less, what they meant. I really love this accent, its rhythm, intonation and pitch. It seems as if they were singing.
I´ll upload some videos for you to listen to them.

SUPERLAMBANANA
It is intended to be a cross between a banana and a lamb. This sculpture, created by a Japanese artist, symbolizes the trade in this city. Bananas were imported and lamb exported.
The original superlambanana is yellow although in 2008, the year when Liverpool was the European Capital of Culture, about 125 different miniature replicas were located around the city.
